The Traditional Sail Festival that takes place in June each year in the picturesque town of Crosshaven on the south coast of Ireland. Traditional Boat Festival for vintage boats of all types, shapes and sizes. Features a Parade of Sail on Sunday afternoon, children's crab-fishing and knot-tying competitions and a traditional market all-day Saturday. Come dressed as a Pirate or Wench for the Saturday night festivities in the local pubs and have a chance at winning the prize for the best-dressed. Loads of fun on the water and ashore. Heave -ho me hearties!!

As part of the Crosshaven Traditional Sail 2018, we invite you to join us on a seafood tasting trail around the pubs of Crosshaven.

As a group, we will meander through the village, visiting all pubs including Cronin's, The Anchor Inn, The Oar Bar, Admiral Drake, Fitzys and Buckley's Bar while enjoying a tasty seafood treat in each stop.

Look forward to seafood chowder, fish bites, fresh mussels, smoked salmon and BBQ delights on route.

Tickets for this event are free. Donations in lieu of payment to the RNLI, which can be donated on the day.

Tickets are limited and must be prebooked online.

Meeting Point - Cronin's Pub, Sunday, 18 June at 3pm sharp (outside the seating area by the roundabout)

21:00 'til late: Bar food, music and craic in the pubs


Saturday 16th :

1000 - 1230 Registration of boats at Event Office on the pier

1030 - 1230 Breakfast BBQ for sailors on the Pier

1230 Opening ceremony and skippers briefing

1230 – 1400 Kids model boat building

1300 Life boat Display (Crosshaven RNLI) off the Hugh Coveney Pier

1400 Race start in the vicinity of ‘The Grassy’

1700 Boats returning - post sailing analysis

2100 Till late Bar food , music & craic in the Pubs

2230 Fireworks display
