Welcome to Crosshaven Festivals second
Crosshaven Festivals is local community group set up by the community for the community. Our aim is to promote festivals, events and the
community spirit in the area. We know the area has so much to offer and we will strive to make Crosshaven and its
surrounding areas known throughout the land.
Those of you who have gone to the effort of dressing up, we thank you. This bank holiday weekend promises to be a fun filled family extravaganza with something for all ages. We are looking forward to this festival growing in the forthcoming years. Thank you to everyone involved.

Hallowe’en in Crosshaven
It’s Hallowe’en in Crosshaven
Are you getting scared ?
Of the ghosts and ghouls and goblins
That are lurking everywhere.
I saw a Zombie down in Centra
He was buying crisps and sweets
And some ghosts up the woods
Practicing their tricks for treats.
And all around Brightwater
The Witches and Werewolves play
Haunting every road and green
Howling night and day.
In Fountainstown, in Graball
Myrtleville and Drake's Pool
In Church Bay and in Fennells
The Spooks and Witches rule.
And it’s not only ghosts and ghouls
but Fairies and Princesses too
Bob the builder, Batman
and even Winnie the Pooh.
There are kid Gardai and Firefighters
there are Robots, there are Elves
There are Dogs and there Frogs
and kids dressed like themselves.
And all these strange looking folk
These monsters and these ghouls
they are just our neighbours
dressing up. They think it’s cool.
So get your costume on (or not)
Grab a bag for all your sweets,
It is Hallowe’en in Crosshaven
and it’s Time for Trick or Treat
Prizes for Paraders this year will have number of secret judges and will have prizes for the most inventive costumes.
See our facebook page for updates and details.
